Hyperoctave : Event : Camouflage - Rennie Pilgrem
Rennie Pilgrem is a true legend of club cluture, and has been one of breakbeats
most influential artists for many years.
One of the founding members of Rhythm Section, his work within the early
rave scece galvanised his career. From there he moved on to become one
of the first innovators within the breaks scene, and became the Godfather
of Nu Skool Breaks, setting up Friction with Adam FreelandTayo and Ian
Williams. His own record label TCR emerged from the dying embers of the
UK hardcore breakbeat scene which had disappeared after four ground breaking
years. He is currently responsible for the Breaksday concept at WMC in
Miami and the Glade Festival.
