Camouflage on the last Friday of June 2007 will present M.I.Loki on their
debut visit to Scotland.

Taking influences from just about every musical genre under the sun the
partnership of Matt Scott and Ian Stanley came about in the summer of 2003.
In
May 2006, they set up Tricksta Recordings, a label that was to be heavily
influenced more by the early days of the "breaks" genre where
breakbeats were alive and reigned supreme.

releases later and both Loki and Tricksta have considerably grown in stature,
with I-DJ magazine describing them as “the next big thing in breakbeat”.
Though words such as these can be thrown around all too easily, the fact
they have firmly set their roots with a style unlike most other breaks labels,
added to the fact they can count the likes of Ils, Freq Nasty, Si Begg,
Chris Carter and Quest as fans bodes well. A residency at Sheffield’s
eclectic Natural Shy night, guest slots alongside established names such
as Deekline and Wizard, Mutiny and Freq Nasty, and several highly successful
mix cds have followed, plus the recent inclusion of Get Hype on the latest
Mofo cd (mixed by Quest). Their development of a unique live DJ show, fusing
live synths and sequencing with the traditional blending of records now
looks set to propel them even further into the musical stratosphere!
