This is a side project of Espion from Hyperoctave Recordings, Orson Records,
etc.. Some of the tracks are industrial and aggressive, others are jazz,
hip hop and drum n bass influenced. Most of it is quite downtempo and
atmospheric. I'm aiming towards the TV/Film industry.
Some of this material has been used in short films, adverts, animations
and art exhibitions, though I would really like to write music for computer
games. These tracks are in the same vein as the stuff I do with Josh (Bitskit)
under the name Ad
Hoc, plus I've written a few tracks with Kid
303, plus will be working on some stuff with Recon (Digital
Camouflage) for short films.
My main inspirations for this project are Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin, Autechre,
DJ Hidden, DJ Krush, Eric Senna (Leon), Hive, Jesper Kyd (Hitman), John
Barry (007, The Ipcress File), John Powell (Bourne Identity), Mulatu Astatke,
Nightmares on Wax, Plaid, Photek, Roque Baños (The Machinist), Scrap.edx,
Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra, Squarepusher, TRS-80, Venetian Snares,
jazz music (Ray Brown, Roy Budd) film soundtracks and many more downtempo
artists (I hear more and more every day!).
