After several years as a promoter (notably Camouflage and Breakcore Extravaganza)
and resident at various club nights (Super
Scientists, Pogo Vogue, Dogma
and more), Espion made his first real mark on the underground scene in
2005, with sell-out releases on Transparent Sounds label Orson Records.
Since then, his diversity in his music has seen him progress into a well
established artist, releasing with Transparent Sound, Swayzak, Bangkok
Impact, Mesak, Scape One, John Selway, Paul Blackford, Vector Lovers and
C-System, with frequent plays on Dave Clarke's White Noise radio show
in recent months. So far Espion has played all over the UK, Prague and
Shenzhen (China), with a worldwide tour in planning for 2008/09.

Soma, forthcoming releases on Serotonin Records, Hyperoctave Recordings
(his own label) and music published through 2pointzero for use in TV/Film,
Espion has taken his dark, intricate and emotive electro style to venues
all over the UK and Europe in recent years, and has played alongside acts

As an electronic artist he is constantly experimenting and re-inventing
himself, and always staying ahead of the game. Other side projects include
'Error Response'-
an initiative designed to produce atmospheric downtempo electronica for
TV, film and computer games - and 'Ad
Hoc' (with Camouflage DJ and producer Bitskit),
taking inspiration from film music, IDM and breakcore!
His variation and diversity in his music, mixed with tireless efforts
within various club nights, has seen him progress into a big name outside
the electronic music underground, and particularly established himself
as one of the best and well known producers in Glasgow. His live sets
are a brick-shaking sonic assault of dark, filthy, back-alley techno,
oppressive pounding beats and funky sci-fi electro synths!
